LIVING PROOF MAGAZINE ISSUE 12

This issue highlights Shoreline Mafia, who officially formed in
2016, consisting of a number of rappers and producers that came
together through their shared interests in graffiti, skateboarding,
streetwear, and partying. The group quickly gained traction with
their breakout single “Musty” in early 2017.
Over the following years, Shoreline Mafia’s rapid rise to fame and
success continued, signing with Atlantic to release mixtapes
Traplantic (2018) and OTXMas (2018). In May of 2024, founding
members OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin reunited, returning as a duo
to release “Heat Stick”, the lead single for OhGeesy’s Paid N Full
album in February 2025.
Reboe checks in with Fenix Flexin and OhGeesy in Los Angeles to
speak on finding inspiration, their graffiti roots, skateboarding,
fashion, and longevity in the rap game.

Aside from Shoreline this issue highlights British-Nigerian designer & artist
Slawn and Tokyo based artist Verdy and also NYC artist Niontay and Stunna
Sandy. Issue 12 also presents “Footwear” a feature on sneakers from New York
City’s graffiti writers as well as a features on EVIKT.
Including spotlights on Palace Skateboard’s Lucien Clarke and Hjalte Halberg,
one of the minds behind Dancer.

and more..
